Andra Davidson

Co-founder & Editor-in-Chief, MothersClick.com

Andra DavidsonAs co-founder and president of MothersClick.com, Andra Davidson still considers being a mom to her two children to be her most important job. However, becoming a mother is precisely what inspired the launch of this site.

As a busy new mom, Andra turned to the women in her local mothers' group for tips and advice, but soon realized that sharing information between dozens of moms meant dealing with an inbox consistently flooded by emails. Recognizing the importance of her group network, Andra was motivated to find a better way to communicate and share the collective knowledge among the moms in her circle. And that's how MothersClick, the first social network and online service for mothers groups, was born!

In a former life, Andra enjoyed a successful career in sports medicine and physical therapy before moving on to managing clinical trials for a leading biotech company. She is also a respected community volunteer. As an active member of the Junior League of San Francisco for over four years, Andra sits on the board and received special recognition for her community outreach when she was awarded the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award in 2006.

Andra earned a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and a Master's of Education from Oregon State University. She now lives in San Francisco with her husband, Dietrich, and their two daughters, Katrina and Ashley.
