Hello Ladies,

I wanted to post a note about the swim lessons I signed Jeffrey up for at Fishy's Aquatics.  A while back I posted that we were going to have a private class and we will have our last class tomorrow.  I cannot say enough about how great the experience has been.  On the first day of class the teacher told us that she would have every one of the kids swimming underwater through a hoop by that Thursday.  I thought she was crazy but to my surprise she had six kids (ages 6 months to almost 2 years old) swimming through hoops underwater.  The sencond week was spent perfecting their swim skills.  I can VERY PROUDLY say that Jeffrey goes underwater, kicks his feet, moves his arms and can move around in the pool, none of which her could do two weeks ago.  He certainly cannot be left alone in the water but I feel better knowing that if he fell in he could get himself to the steps or swim a bit until I got to him (which was the point of the class).  I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend every one of you attending one of the classes at Fishy's Aquatics.  The cost is $70 per session and it lasts two weeks (Monday through Thursday).  The mommy and me classes are from ages 6 months and up.  And little Matthew (who is 6 months) was swimming under the water with the big kids too!!

Some of us who attended this session are going to go for a second session.  If anyone else wants to join us please let me know and I can help you in getting signed up.  The teacher said that it would not matter if someone came to the second session without attending the first one with us.  Once I get the names of who wants to attend I can let Carla (the swim teacher) know and we can work out dates and times.  Again, I am giving my highest recommendation that you bring your child to this class.  You will be ABSOLUTELY AMAZED at what she and you can teach your child and how wonderfully your child will do in this class.
