New Sleep Pattern?
OK, I'm really not complaining - how can I, just answered the poll with sleeps through the night every time
But my 2 year old all of the sudden has been waking up at 7am, at least an hour before she used to. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe it's just a phase? Like I said, not complaining, I'm up at 7, not a problem. Just wondering if this is "normal" at this age.
Thanks!

I know you're not complaining, and neither am I, but man! What a dream!!! I'm sure it's just a phase if she's been fine all this time. I know as kids get older, they will need less and less sleep (and then more and more!). What time does she go to bed?

Yes, I was also thinking she may just be needing a bit less sleep. If you want her to stay in bed longer you might want to try cutting her nap back a bit (maybe put her down a little later if you're like me and don't like wake a sleeping kid).

Thanks both. She goes to bed around 8pm, she usually sleep 11 hours or so. Maybe she is just needing less sleep. I was just curious if others had experienced the same thing.
Naps are another story. It's tough to get her to fall asleep before 2pm (even if I put her in her bed at 1), sometimes she doesn't wake up until almost 5!
I'm sure it's all fine, we're just learning how life is with a 2 year old
Maybe you just need to make sure that she doesn't take such a long nap. I'm not sure though, my son in one and doesn't ever sleep. I was told that I should keep him up between 5 and 8, then put him to bed, and that seems to have worked with him. Maybe make sure she only gets 2 hours?

My daughter is a late napper too. And it takes her forever to fall asleep. We go up to her room around 1:45 and I'm lucky if he falls asleep by 2:30. Sometimes it's closer to three. And for the past 4 days (until today) she wouldn't take a nap at all! (It's because we are getting ready to move this weekend, but it was horrible. Thank goodness she finally took one today.)
Good night ladies. I'm pooped. Two more days of packing to go!
