For months, every time we'd get in the car or go for a walk, my daughter would say "look, there's the mouse".  He looked so cute on the advertisements we'd see on buses and billboards around the city.  I couldn't wait for her (and me) to experience the movie, but at 3, I still think she's a little young for the theater. 

Now the wait is over.  My daughter was SO excited to see this movie she actually sat still for most of it!  The whole family enjoyed the tale of Despereaux and his friends.  And what an amazing cast!  This is definitely a family classic, especially if you are a fan of the book.  The DVD is available April 7, so don't hesitate, this is a keeper.
