Mark Anthony's Simply Straight
I’ve been blessed with beautiful hair, so I’ve been told.
Many stylists awe at how thick it is, how lucky I am, how it must be so nice to
have hair to manageable. I politely thank them knowing full well that they are
paid to say that, and it could be
true should they decide to take up residence with me to manage this mane of
hair.
Most days I find myself cursing my locks. It has waves in
all the wrong spots, it’s frizzy, it’s too long, and it’s not long enough. Since
I am pretty well all thumbs when it comes to hair. I find myself just throwing
it up in a messy bun everyday since I just don’t have the patience or time.
It’s been a forever enduring Battle of the Mane; I thought I would never
win.
Until I met my new stylist.
She showed me the world of real ceramic straigtheners. The glorious and ever so gratifying
world of beautifully tamed hair with glorious shine and oh! so! manageable!
I loved everything about it. Except the cost. [insert sound
of my heart breaking here.]
I wanted that straightener. I wanted to be apart of that
wonderful world of beautiful hair. I longed for that hair.
Since they would not take my first born in lieu of payment,
I had to find another method to achieve the pin straight hair I was longing
for.
[cue Mark Anthony!]
On a whim, an impulse buy (is there any other kind?), I
picked up a bottle of Mark Anthony’s Simply Straight. About 10 dollars a tube
here in Canada
(the Walgreen’s page says 7.99 – that’s a STEAL!). It’s only a small portion of
the cost of my coveted ceramic straightener. Really? How could I resist?
After showering, simply apply a small amount (literally, small.
I have long hair and I use about the size of a quarter) and work it in, then
blow dry the heck out of it, brush and you’re done. Straight, beautiful hair;
like I mean straight! people.
I am always skeptical of different straighteners and creams,
lotions and potions, but this one has won my heart. I am hooked! It’s simple,
quick, painless and far from time consuming. There’s really nothing negative
about this product, it even smells
great!

I've tried this one (well, the spray, not the cream). It works pretty well, but I always feel like my hair is getting really dried out when I use it, so I don't use it every day.
