Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

As you all might imagine, we get quite a few requests to review kids' movies for MothersClick and share our thoughts with all of  you.  So when Fox offered to send me a preview copy of the latest "Ice Age" movie, which is available on DVD October 27, I couldn't refuse!   I have to admit that I have  been a HUGE fan of this series ever since I saw the first installation years ago- and that's pre-kids.

Never have my own kids (ages 4 and 2.5) been so excited to watch a movie over and over and over- we're talking  beating out The Little Mermaid which had reined supreme in our DVD player for months.  Not only do they love to watch the movie, they talk about it incessantly all day long.  Many of our recent conversation go something like this; "is that bigger than Rudy?" or "would Rudy eat him?" or "who broke the playground?".

If you can deal with that type of enthusiasm, than I definitely recommend this DVD for your family.  And I know you hear this a lot, but I really mean it, mommy and daddy have no problem watching this movie over and over- although maybe not quite as many times as the kids.  It's well made, well acted and very entertaining for all ages.

So, whether you're an "Ice Age" fan or not, this is worth checking out!
