Prep time: 10 minutes

This chili is perfect for a winter night and can be made in a flash! I got this recipe from my Grandma Bea and tweaked it a little. I always serve this with cornbread. Leftovers freeze perfectly as well.

Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion
2 cans chili beans
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 small can of tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder

Kitchen Items

Stockpot, cutting board, knife, measuring spoons, can opener

Instructions

Chop onions. Place onions in a stockpot over medium heat. Sautee for about 1 minute then add ground beef (I sometimes add a little pepper and garlic salt here). Extract grease when beef is cooked through. All all remaining ingredients. Cook until heated (I usually cook it for at least 30 minutes). I also add more tomato sauce if I feel it is needed. Enjoy!!!
