Mexican Papaya Salad
Easy, refreshing, and beautiful to look at!
Ingredients
One pkg of Mache lettuce
2-3 kiwis pealed
1/2 red onion sliced in thin circles
1 avocado sliced thin
1 (small) Mexican (sometimes called Maradol) Papaya sliced thin
Poppy seed dressing
Kitchen Items
good pairing or utility knife and a lovely platter or shallow bowl (white is best as it shows off the pretty colors of the salad)
Instructions
Start with the Mache lettuce on the bottom
Layer the Mexican Papaya, then kiwi, then red onion, then avocado over the top. Spread it out so it looks appealing visually and the colors and textures are visible.
Pour a small amount of Poppy Seed (I use Brianna's Brand) over
enjoy!
