Uber Moist Turkey Burgers

These turkey burgers are a great healthy alternative to higher cholesterol and calorie hamburgers. They are moist and make a great treat for a weekend bbq. You can also substitute the mix for turkey meatloaf or mini turkey burgers for appetizers!

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground turkey
2/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon evoo
1 cup bread crumbs ( use italian seasoned bread crumbs from time to time to mix things up a bit!)
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon mined garlic (Goya has little pre-minced jars that are ready to serve)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Dash salt

Kitchen Items

Any nonstick pan will do!

Instructions

First, cook the onions for about 4 to 5 minutes. Combine all ingredients in medium mixing bowl. Heat your nonstick pan to medium-high heat. Shape the mix into patties and place on heated pan coated with nonstick cooking spray or a light coat of e.v.o.o. Cook each side for 4 to 5 minutes then enjoy!

If desired you can let the mix marinate for a few hours in the refrigerator. I also like to spray each side of the formed patty with e.v.o.o. to help retain moisture. I'd recommend Perdue's Lean Ground Turkey for it's lower calorie and cholesterol count. These Uber Moist Turkey Burgers are perfect for the approaching summer bbq's and quick and easy dinners that are sure to please everyone!
