Hamburger Steak with Gravy

Fried Hamburger Patties with Brown Gravy

Yield: 
Makes about 10 patties
Ingredients with measurements: 

1 lb hamburger
1 egg
1/3 cup of bread crumbs
1/2 bag of recipe secrets onion & mushroom
Sprinkle of garlic powder
Sprinkle of pepper
1/2 onion chopped
2 bags of Lawrys gravy

Instructions: 

2 hrs before cooking

2 Medium Saucepans
Knife
Cutting Board
Wisk
Spoon
2 bowls
Spatula
Paper Towels

First put the thawed ground beef in a bowl. Add the 1 egg, 1/3 cup of bread crumbs, 1/2 bag of recipe secrets onion & mushroom, Sprinkle of garlic powder, & Sprinkle of pepper. Mix it thoroughly till its all mixed it. Put in the refrigerator for 2 hrs prior to cooking.
After 2 hrs is up, take the bowl out of the refrigerator. Then put a saucepan on medium heat with a quarter size of vegetable oil. Take a small chunk of hamburger and pat it on your hand till it its the size of a cookie. Place it in the saucepan. You want to make sure both sides are browned and then take them out to cool on paper towels. After you had used up all the hamburger and browned the patties, get your onion and chop it. In another saucepan, saute it. Then prepare the 2 bags of gravy. Follow the directions on the packages by mixing it with the wisk. Then add the hamburger patties in the brown gravy. Let it simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. In 30 minutes its ready to serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
