Austin, Texas Pecan Pie
The best pecan pie you have evr put in your mouth. A southern favorite. Great with ice cream, cold, or hot.
Ingredients
3 Eggs slightly beaten
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Karo Syrup
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup of Pecans
Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour. It may take as much as 1 and a half hours depending on your own personal oven or how many pies you are baking at once. ©

Texas native whole pecans or a good tasting local pecan
Instructions
Add the first 4 ingredients together in a bowl until well mixed. Pour the ingredients into the pie crust. Add the pecans to the top of the ingredients in the pie crust. Dunk the pecans so that they are covered. You may also want to arrange the pecans so that the pretty sides are up or arrange them in a pattern. Any way you arrange them the pie will taste great.
