Beef Stroganoff
This dish is easy to make and very yummy. It's been in the family as long as I can remember. My grandma taught my mom how to make it and my mom taught me how to make it. Whenever family gets together this is the dish we have.
1 cup milk
2 cans of Cream of Mushroom&Chicken Soup
8 oz of Sour Cream
1 onion
1 to 2 lbs of Sirloin Cut Beef
1 bag of Large Egg Noodles
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
30 Minutes
One Large Boiling Pot
One Large Sauce Pan
One Large Mixing Bowl
Whisk
Stirring Utensils
Cutting Board
Chopping Knife
Fill Boiling Pot and put on burner and bring to a boil. Put 1 bag of Egg Noodles into boiling water and cook as instructed on the bag. Strain when noodles are finished.
Add Olive Oil to large sauce pan and turn heat to medium to heat oil.
Chop onion into medium to small pieces. Add onions to large sauce pan and saute until golden brown.
While sauteing the onions chop Beef into small to medium pieces. Add to large sauce pan and cook the meat until it's to your liking. 5 to 10 minutes for medium rare meat.
While cooking meat add Milk, Cream of Mushroom and Chicken, Sour Cream, Sale and Pepper into Large Mixing Bowl. Whisk together.
Once meat is finished cooking add Sauce to Large Sauce pan and heat for 10 to 15 minutes. (You may want to cover the pan with a lid to avoid splatter.)
Serve hot with French Bread or Bread of your liking.
