Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is definitely a family favourite. This cookie is soft, almost like a muffin/cookie combination. The kids will love it!!
Yield:
approx. 24 cookies
Ingredients with measurements:
2 ½ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
1 cup white sugar
2/3 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 400◦F. Grease cookie sheets. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together and set aside.
2. Cream the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Mix in the mashed bananas. Add the flour mixture, and stir until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 min.
