Transistioning to bottle

Hello,

I read through the question about getting your baby to drink from a bottle, and I am still looking for advice a bit more specific and thought that there might be someone out there that can help. Lucy is 8 weeks old and has been given a bottle every night (between 10pm -1am) the bottle has had formula. She took to it fine in the early days and then slowly started to drink less and less of the bottle and finally had a screaming fit about a week and a half ago when my husband tried to give her the bottle (he has given it to her each night). I am currently trying to wean her to be purely bottle/formula fed and was planning to take the next month to accomplish it. Last night I pumped in an effort to get her to take the bottle and she had the same screaming reaction. I tried to give her one today and she remained calm, but rolled her tongue all around the nipple and kept popping it out of her mouth. (she made the same tongue actions with the bottle nipple that my son made when we first gave him solid foods. Anyway- I am looking for advice from someone that has had a similar experience (if anyone has)..... I figure I will just keep it up- trying to give it to her. I figure that eventually she will pick it up??? fingers crossed! oh one more thing... she basically won't let anyone else hold her from 5-10pm
