hi! i am currently homeschooling my 3 tots and i use flylady and just make out a schedule each day. it really works for me. now, my house isn't always the cleanest...but, my kids are happy and i figure they will remember the play more than they will the dirty dishes and laundry.
I AM TRYING TO SERVE FRUITS AND VEGGIES TO CUSTOMERS THAT ONLY WANT LOLLIPOPS AND BROWNIES.
I have four kids...19 (senior, last year of homeschool), 15 (sophomore), 4 (preschool who can't speak much English yet at all!!!), and our youngest is 2. My house isn't the cleanest either but I totally agree with the mom above. My kids are happy and they won't remember all the housework I did (or didn't do!!!)...they'll remember the times we shared If you have a close friend or relative, see if they can come to your house just a few hours a week to oversee the kids doing simple homework assignments while you do a fast run through of the house cleaning that you don't normally have time to do. My mom and hubby help me. My best advice is attempt to stay on somewhat of a schedule, but if you are not able to stick to it completely don't beat yourself up. Just try your best and remember to have fun with it. You're homeschooling your children to become productive members of society who are educated and not psychotic!!!!! If you stress out over all you're NOT getting done, you're going to stress your kids out, too.
