Little Sleeper Waking Early

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Hi All,

I'm new to this site and am hoping to find some tried and true advice for my 3 mo. old's sleeping habits.

I've researched the heck out of this topic and just want to make sure I've exhausted all my options. My daughter is 13 weeks old, and has (thank goodness) been sleeping 6-8 hours for the past several weeks. While we are absolutely thrilled about this compared to once or twice a night wakings, she seems to be stuck on waking up around 3 or 4 am and I can't figure out why. She has gone until 5 or 6 am a couple of times on her own. When she wakes, I usually start out by going in and giving her her pacifier and shh and pat her, but not pick her up like they say not to. However, after several times of going through this, I usually end up picking her up and laying down with her on the couch so that we can both get more than 15 mins. of sleep at a time. I'm back to work and would really love it if we could get into a 9 or 10 pm to 6 am routine eventually. She seems pretty adaptable to most things, but I just don't know if I'm ready to do any "cry it out" just yet. We have a bedtime routine but she generally does fall asleep in me or my husband's arms...any ideas?
