I am a teacher who went to college online after two years in a public college. You do not have to have any previous courses though. It's called WGU you can find out more information at www.wgu.edu ...it's completely self- paced which was great for me...no real deadlines or stress....I was told it would take me about 4 years and I finished in 1.5. It was a great experience and very affordable!
