gift ideas

You know how it is when you simply HAVE to buy this present but you don't know what exactly you can give to this specific person?

So I thought we could share our ideas and thoughts about gifts here in this club. Most of us have this dilema several times a year - during the holiday season, on our kids' birthdays.... not to mention our parents' anniversary and our best friend's birthday....

We have so much more power when sharing our ideas and advice, let's do it here!

I am a consultant with Scentsy Wickless Candles. Everyone likes to have a home that smells wonderful, and now you can have a great smelling home without the risky open flame of traditional candles. Scentsy warmers run off of a 25 watt lighbulb and warms scented, lead free wax. There are 80+ scents and 40+ warmers to choose from. I love giving these as gifts. I would love to help you find the perfect one for your friends!

Have a SCENTsational day!

Is it a wedding gift or just something for fun? This really depends on your budget, but what immediately came to mind for me was a game console such as Wii (I recommend that one in particular because it's so fun to play together and provides a wee bit of exercise to boot!) Or if they already have a game console, find out if there are any games they might like. Some of the games come with their own special equipment so that could make a really special gift in itself.

Check out the "Sexy Picto Wall Graphic" at gift-ideaz.com.

It's a wall graphic that can be arranged in any combo you want or style you want. I think it would be a great decor addition to a young couple bedroom.

If these are good friends you can get them something like the "My Heart Beats for You" pillowcases.

You can see a picture and get that at Amazon. It's adorable.

If this couple is not that close to you, then maybe something more formal like a set of wine glasses like these at Gift-Ideaz.com

If it's for a wedding how about the Williams-Sonoma Bride & Groom Cookbook. It can surely help in the kitchen....

I so have agood one!  Click this link and see if you agree!!!  You can even visit their blog for other decorations made personal to the couple!  have fun!  The link is:  http://www.eightydaisies.com/store/WsDefault.asp?Cat=Decorations

PS.  You can also have something made to fit their personality!  Here at this site:  www.beachwoods.blogspot.com go see for yourself.  Some pretty amazing things!  ;)

Wow, lots of great ideas to choose from....

The young couple is married for 2 years and they are close friends of mine.

They mostly like unique hand made stuff and I was looking for that kind of a gift.
Browsing around the sites you recommended, I found this screen printed poster called "ABC Love".
Made by Jennifer Ramos and sold on Etsy. I think they'll love it.

Thanks ladies for your help.

I've found the very best combination ever for a gift for a couple. They are always appreciative, always use it, always love it.

Gift card with something small and personal

EVERYONE loves a gift card, but it's not the most personal gift, so, I either bake something and put the gift card in a card or attach it to a plant (given the occasion) or buy a little something that I know is a favorite of theirs (example: a little stuffed turtle and a small bag of nails of she loves turtles and he loves to build things;))

I've found these combinations to be a huge success every time
