HELP???

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Ok we started potty training our son and he was doing great...he was going when we would ask him if he had to go and sometimes he would even come and get us to take him to the potty...he would get so excited when he would go!!! but then all the sudden he just stopped!! Nothing happened but for some reason he just does not want to go...when we ask him to go he tells us no and then if we just take him in and try it he gets really angry and just doesn't want to be on the potty...I don't know what to do...because like I said NOTHING happened...he just stopped... has anyone else had this problem?? What can I do to get him interested again?? ANY advice on what to do???

Thank you

Welcome to toddlerhood!

Have there been any changes recently? New routine, school, house, pet pass away ect. Even small changes can cause regression in a child.

My son regressed a lot when we moved. He went from 90% potty usage to 0. It was quite frusterating.

Back off asking for a while, just remind him gently when changing him that, he can still use the potty like mom and dad.

And I would suggest looking into potty learning instead of training.
