First time around the block. Input on my symptoms?
Hi every body, I'm new here!
This is the first time I have ever thought I could be pregnant. It's exciting and scary! I would like some input on my symptoms because I don't want to work myself up to be let down.
Its such a long wait from now until my first missed period. The test results seem so far away!!
So, so far my symptoms have been
Spotting: A pinkish brown discharge.
Heartburn: Not incredibly bad but enough to be uncomfortable
Nausea: I have only actually thrown up once and it wasn't a lot but I have been nauseous off and on and really gaggy.
Also, I have been outrageously horny....very unusual for me!!
It sounds and feels to me like I am, but I am afraid of a negative test result and then if thats the outcome I am worried about what else it could be.

Hi CrystalCook,
It's so hard when you're in that gray zone where it's too soon to take a test and you're having symptoms that COULD mean you're pregant or may just be an unusal period or something.
I was there with my second pregnancy (I'm 16 weeks now). I had extremely sore breasts and a couple of other things and I felt sure I was pregant, but I was trying so hard not to get my hopes up! I was actually scared to take the test because I was so afraid I'd be wrong. Thankfully, I was right. :)
All of your symptoms fall into that gray area: yes, they could very well mean you are pregnant. But they're all due to hormonal changes, which could also mean PMS (even if they're different from your usual PMS symptoms). HOWEVER...your intuition might be trying to tell you something too! My advice is to keep your mind occupied as much as possible until it's time to take the test. Buy a pregnancy test, make a note on your calendar of the date you want to take it, and then try to keep yourself busy and put it aside until then. You just don't want to make yourself crazy with the wondering! It will be here before you know it and remember, if your first test is negative, wait 5 days (assuming you don't get your period) and try again.
I can tell you'd really like this to be true, so I hope you get your wish! Good luck!
