Diapers

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

I have an 81/2 month old boy who is VERY active.  I have been using LUVS and I loved them because they were easy and cheap.  Well, now that he is so active, the LUVS don't seem to work very well.  I have started using Huggies nighttime at night, since he's sleeping through the night, but sometimes, they can be so expensive.  Any suggestions on good diapers that won't leak after 2 hours and are cheap?  I am a pastor's wife who doesn't work, so I need to stay within my budget.  Thanks, Anita

I love Pampers!!! I have never had a problem with them, and you can usually buy them in a big box--economy size--from Babies R Us or Sam's Club--possibly even Walmart and Target. This will save you some money but still get a good quality diaper.

I had the same problem and started using pampers cruisters, that are only a dollar or two more expensive than luvs (you can find coupons too a lot if you go to pampers.com) and I loved them. I wouldn't have thought about using a different diaper and my son RARELY had leaks.

Don't forget to register your purchases at pampers.com too.  If you're going to pay for them you should definitely get the additional rewards!  We love pampers too!

I tried all kinds of diapers, but the pampers had always worked best for my kids.  They never leaked on my kids.  They cost the same amount as Huggies and you can get the giant box at Sam's for about $34.  It's worth it!

I have a 12 month old son and tried pampers at one time but I think 1) they have a terrible smell to them and 2) my son leaked a lot. Tried Luvs, but again the smell just grossed me out. I switched to just good 'ol regular huggies and never tried anything else. I'm very happy with them and will stick with them. I signed up through the website and get coupons for huggies all the time.

Having had three children in four years, and all three of them in diapers and/or pull-ups at the same time, I have to admit a slavish devotion to Huggies. Huggies never disappointed, and on the occasions they failed, I'm not sure that any other brand could have fared better. Seriously. It was all in what the child did to the poor thing.

I may as well confess that I used only Pull-ups, because they worked, and I could not afford the extra laundry by way of trial and error. Again, if it did not hold, the thinking was that I didn't do well enough coaxing one last pee stop out of my kids before bed. In fact, I still wake them up if they are making that I-gotta-go-but-don't-wanna-get-up whiney sound, carry them to the bathroom, and stand them there if necessary until they pee and I can rest easy.

So, Huggies = good, Pull-ups = good, dry morning sheets = the flowery bosom of Eden.

My daughter is finally potty trained but when in diapers I would only use Huggies Supreme(red package, not the Ultra Dry). I tried all the diapers, hated Pampers and would  not pay the prices for them either. Luvs were ok but they didn't wrap around her waist good enough for me. The Huggies always held a tremendious amount of liquid without leaking.  I called Huggies once to complain about them discontinuing the Convertible's and they sent me loads of coupons from $1 to $11 off. If you get on their mailing list or call them they will send them to you too. Being on their mailing gets you a good coupons that don't expire in 2 weeks. Then I would wait until Walmart or target or drug store(CVS, Eckard) would have them on sale and buy up 5-6 packages at a time.

Our girl is coming July 3rd and we flipped a coin basically about what brand we'd grab up to give a shot first. I have Huggies samples so, we bought NB Pampers to give a try when we start changes at home.

I couldn't believe how *hard* this decision was LOL you never know which ones you might like best til you try em!!!

I am a committed Huggies user...although I am hoping that my 2 & 1/2 year old daughter becomes a committed underwear user soon...sigh...the potty training is not going particularly well Smiley Any good tips?
