It could be nothing, but call your ob right away and tell him what's going on! Get thee to your OB!

First off Congratulations!!
Secondly, yes sometimes it's normal, as the baby burrows into the lining of your uterus to experience some pains. The cramping is also quite normal, being only 4 weeks along.
I would recommend making an appointment with your physcian (does not have to be an OB). Make sure you are drinking PLENTY of water all day, the pregnant body needs at least a gallon of water.
And take it easy, when you notice a cramp or pain, lay down and drink some water.

Cramping can be normal. I had cramps (like period cramps) with both my pregnancies around the time that I would have had a period. But it eventually went away. If your pains are SHARP or SEVERE then I would make sure I called my ob/gyn. You could just be stressed if this is your first pregnancy. So RELAX and just enjoy being pregnant!
