Bunk Beds
I'm hoping to get some expert feedback on bunk beds. My kids share a room right now, they are 4 and 2.5. The younger one is still in a crib, but it's definitely time to get him out!
We don't have a ton of space so my husband and I were thinking about bunk beds. Any positive or negative feedback out there? I'm a little worried that they will NEVER go to sleep since they'll be so close to each other and talk all night long.

The fact that they are so little ....with bunkbeds would scare me....
We have bunk beds. The bottom is a futon and we put a thicker matteress on top of the futon matteress since they are thin. We also used a berd rail for the bottom when he was u younger to prevent falls. The top of ours has pretty high bars all around so the other one cant fall out. And a latter that is part of the bed, not one that can move around. The older one sleeps in the "sky bed" and the younger below. I am trying to remember when we started them in this bed...maybe 3 and 5? IThey are 7 and 8 now. It worked well for us. I also lined the matteress with water proof sheets for those OOPS moments :) Hope that helps some..I'm no expert though, just a mom

I just bought bunk beds for my 3 year old and 4 year old and we made rules for them they can not play on them. They are for sleeping only and that they have tons of toys to play. An its been really good they have listen to us.
