Best Birth Control that won't cause weight gain and heavy periods

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

I'm 37 and not planning on having anymore kids. I have twin 10 year olds that happened naturally adn a 17 year old daughter. I do not want tubal ligation (yet), but I have had Mirena for 2 yrs. because I was having seriously heavy periods. I have no period anymore, but I have to wear panty liners every day due to discharge and I found that for the past 6 mo. I have bad acne and mood swings. I am also bloated and can't seem to lose weight. I guess I am looking for the perfect birth control solution. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

there is a new form of permanent birth control. it is called Essure.  i am currently considering this procedure myself.  here is the website if you would like to read a little about it: www.essure.com also here is a telephone number that you can call too: 1-877-377-8731. good luck! and i hope you get all the information you need!

For almost three years, I had all sorts of problems with my Mirena IUD--so I had it removed a little over a month ago.  Now, my husband and I are using condoms or a diaphram--no more hormones for me.  We aren't sure if we want anymore children, but as soon as we are positive we are done my hubby is getting a vasectomy.
