Any ideas for 1st year birthday?
My son is going to be one in October, i'm looking for someone who wants to share any original ideas! all advice is welcome, thanks,

At 1, most kids have no idea what the celebration is all about.
We had a fun party, just at our house for my daughter's first birthday. It was mostly a chance for our friends and family to get together. Minimal decorations and simple food worked great.
But don't forget the birthday cake! Some of the best pictures we have of my daughter were from that day as soon as we put that cake in front of her.
Based on our kids' first bdays and our nephews'... don't over-plan. It can be very overwhelming for them. Our daughter actually took a nap in the middle of hers. One thing we thought worked great for a little ones was to give the baby a cupcake. They loved it!
I would just throw a small family get together at ur house.
Save ur $$$ until the child gets 3yrs old. Then he/she will remember.......
