It's hard, but I leave it alone. Lord knows I don't need it, and it's THEIR loot and they seem so proud...I just can't do it.
My son loves trick or treating but didn't love candy so he was ready to dump almost all of it in the garbage. Can't let that happen - right?
But long before he got home, I was picking in the candy I bought to give out. I used to buy candy I hated so I wouldn't do that, then it would be left over and go in the garbage and there again. . what a waste.
