Moving
Hey ladies. We have some happy yet sad news to share...
We are moving to TEXAS! Greg has accepted a job offer in Houston so it looks like we will be making the move to the promise land. We are very excited about the opportunity and adventure that awaits us, but we are also very sad to be leaving our friends, church and first house. This is one of those times in life when God provides you with a great opportunity and you have to take it! We had been hoping to get to Texas for some time, and the Lord blessed us with an AWESOME opportunity! We feel that the Lord has blessed us so much and we are just letting Him be the driver on this new adventure! Once the relocation people call we should have an offical move date for the moving company to come and pack our house, move it, and unpack us. We will keep you posted.
We will only be four hours away from Baton Rouge and we already have plans to come back for some events. I will come to as much as I can before we leave and then I will try to make some of the events when we are back in town!! Of course you are always welcome in our home and once our house is built we will have lots of extra room for guests.
We have already signed a builder contract and have chosen our lot. We are building a new house and will live in a large apartment until it is completed, about 6 months. We are going to be living in a master-planned community called Tuscan lakes, it is super nice, with beautiful homes, gated communities, pools, parks, walking trails, splash pads and shopping. Here is the website: http://www.tuscanlakes.com/
This past Friday and Saturday we went back to Houston to visit the design center to pick out all of the interior features for our new home: cabinets, counters, floors, lights, paint, etc, etc, etc. It was really fun! We went to the Kemah Boardwalk to eat dinner and walk around. Kemah is a really fun place that is only about 10-15 minutes from our new home! http://www.kemahboardwalk.com/flash_...
Please keep us in your prayers during this excited yet very busy time. We hope to keep in touch with everyone as much as possible.

Susanna,
I sure had a great time getting to know you and Kailey. I am sad to see you guys go but excited for you and your family. I hope it proves to be better than you ever imagined. I am certain that you will make fast friends with your neighbors and other mommies in the area! Good luck to you, Greg, and Kailey and we will be thinking of you while you are gone. Stay in touch and make sure to come to some StrollerFriends events when you come into Baton Rouge. We'll miss you.

Susanna,
I am so glad that I got to meet you and Kailey. Moving is very hard, especially with a baby, but speaking from experience it can be the best thing! I hope Noah and I see you before you leave, Noah wants to show off his new crawling ability to Kailey! Please keep in touch. Keep us informed with Kailey's website.
Noah and I will miss you!
