Kindney Trust Walk

Hello Ladies...as some of you know my Dad is on dialysis and is in need of a kidney transplant. I went through the testing to be his donor at the Mayo Clinic last year...but I was turned down on my last test day...as you can image...this was very hard for me to accept...my kidenys are functioning at 110% but I could not help my Dad!!!
So, I am asking you all to help him....please join me in the Kidney Trust Walk on Sunday, Sept. 16. It is a 3 mile walk on the beach in Daytona at the Bandshell/400 Ocean Beach. Registration begins at 12 noon and the walk begins at 1 p.m. You can register online at www.kidneytrust.org or call 386-212-0589...registration fee is $15.
Last year was my first to participate...if you are interested please let me know we can have our own team...you may be suprised to know that one in eleven American adults have chronic kidney disease...some don't even know it!!!

I have marked my Calender. Have you decided to have a team? I think MOPS will be a good time to get some other MOMs together!!

I would love to wear our shirts, I did not know if you had a team name or t-shirt ideas already. Just let me know what you want to do. StrollerFit gear is fine with me too!! Is Marie going to walk? I am going to see if Genie will walk too...
