Hello All,
I have two boys - 2 and 8 months and work as a school administrator. My husband is a great Dad and also works full time, but takes up a lot of the slack as my job is pretty demanding. I constantly work to balance home/work/me time and am looking forward to hearing how other Moms do it all.

Hey ladies! I am a 26 year old with a wonderful 5 month old boy and a great husband. We both work full time, but I work from home. I joined a company on the front end of its development so I am one of the original team members. When I found out I was pregnant, I was able to make my work effective from home. I drive to client meetings when needed, but conference in to key meetigns from my home most of the time and then work as I would from an office on site. This really helps me manage home duties. For lunch, I work-out and when I need a break from work, I start a load of laundry. It definitely helps!! My son goes to a day-care about 5 miles away so I go see him during the day. I wish he could stay home with me!!
I use mommytrackd also. It seems to have some cool stuff.

Hello from Louisiana-
I'm 31mother of a 5yr old boy and 2yr old girl. I work full time outside of the home. My husband works full time also and he works shift work so he is not home a lot in the evenings and weekends. Most of the household duties, shopping, planning, financial issues are on me.

Hi super moms out there,
Just joined mothersclick..totally loving it..I guess I`m not alone anymore..I`m a busy working mom trying to juggle, home-work-career-kids. I have a 5 year old and a 10 month old baby. Also, I`m new to this but trying to play around and learning new things from other super moms in different groups. Recently, I came across this awesome website called SchoolParentNet.com - it has some really cool tools like:
• online school directory and
• sign up sheets for school activities, field trips and fundraising.
You can get involved in your child's education by volunteering as a classroom parent. Get connected with other parents and teachers, meet your child's classmates and get a better understanding of your child’s educational development. View their success story link at the bottom of the page on their site. You can request an invitation from their site if you want to join. Security and Member schools links are also useful.
I have used it and I recommend it to anyone who has kids.

I live in North Carolina and work full time outside the home, as does my husband.
We have a daughter, age 5 and a son, age 2. They are both thriving in and loving their daycare.
I'm here to commisserate about the challenges of working outside the home and raising kids and all that house stuff that never seems to get done.

Hi, My name is Rhonda and I live in Olive Branch,MS. I have 2 boys ages 9 and 4. My husband and I work outside the home. I have beeen a Flight Attendant for 22 years. I fly about 3 days a week usually on my husband's days' off. We do not have any family around so my husband and I do the "tag team parenting". I just kind of stumbled upon this website. I would love to hear from other moms about how they try to find that balance of family and work.

My mom-in-law does help us about two days a week but for the most part, we tag team everything. He drives our oldest to school everyday, which gives me time to clean, wash, plan out dinner etc.. Then I go to pick her up, get home, do homework, baths(for all 3), dinner, and bed. On the nights where I have to work, Everything is the same except my mom-in-law lets gives them dinner and puts them to bed. The other 2 days I have to work are on my husbands day off. Again everything is the same except my husband rests all day till I leave and he gives them dinner and puts them to bed. I really think the whole thing about tag teaming is that you need to be organized and have a routine that doesn't change that much, so the kids know whats going on. That's how we get it done!

Hello All
I am a working mom with one 10month old little girl. I am a DRG Coordinator (Auditor) at a Hospital. My husband is a Math Coach at a local Middle School and we both work full time plus overtime. I have the partial capability of working at home sometimes. We are still working out the kinks of our systems. I love being a mom, I also love working. I salute the stay at home moms but I don't have the gusto of keeping up with my little one all day. Plus she loves going to daycare and she learns so much there. Plus we can't afford for me to stay at home. Our household works off of two incomes.

I also work full time and my four year old goes to daycare. I wish I could work part time so I wasn't so busy and rushing all of the time, but I need to make money to pay bills and do fun stuff with. I think we should get paid just for being wonderful mommies!

Hi, I am starting a business while taking care of my 10 month old son. It is definitely a challenge to try and juggle it all. I live in Charlotte, NC and am running a Manners school for children. I work with children from the ages of 4 up through 18 and it has really allowed me to fulfill all my business goals and still help me to spend time with my son. Would love to connect with other Moms in the area though for some adult conversation.

Hi Mamas,
I have five little darlings and actually left the traditional workforce to start a business. The idea was to provide flexibility but I certainly end up putting in a lot of hours.....often in the wee hours!
So I'm a Mabels Mama, and a Mama of Many!

Hello, my name is Lori, and I am fairly new to this site. I live in Northern Colorado. I was invited by a neighbor who maintains another mom's group on here.
I am a work-from-home mom with 2 boys, ages 2 wks and 19 mths. Right now I am on maternity leave and keep my youngest at home with me. My oldest goes to a local child devel. center just down the road which he LOVES. Right now, I am currently seeking a nanny that can watch the boys while my husband and I are working (he has an in-home office as well).
I consider myself to be VERY lucky, as my husband and I split childcare/household duties nearly 50/50. Now, I have to admit, when I was pregnant in my last trimester it was more like 90/10, which I am grateful for.
I am in a great position because I CHOOSE to work; although do not HAVE to. Which is wonderful. I love keeping my mind engaged and enjoy working with other well-educated and highly-experienced individuals. It's what drives me. I just am not a sit-at-home kind of gal. With my first son, as well as my new son, I get stir crazy after a couple weeks and am SO ready to go back to work. I love my boys dearly, but mommy needs her sanity too and it's great to be able to make money and have a better lifestyle for the kids. I am proud to be a financial provider for them. It's also very enlightening to know that I can "stand on my own" and not have to rely solely upon the income of my spouse.
Anyone else feel kinda the same way? I'd be curious to know if I'm all alone in this regard...
Lori
