FAQ: What makes Mothers & More different?
Mothers & More members recognize that all women perform valuable work as mothers, whether they are:
New Moms * Seasoned Moms
At-Home Moms* On-the-Job Moms
Back-in-School Moms * Not Just Moms
Whatever path you're taking, being Mom is never as simple as ABC. When you get caught in the tug-of-war between care giving, workplace choices, relationships, and other demands without carving a space to renew your spirit, everything suffers -- you most of all!
Mothers & More puts Mom at the center with a lifeline of support, education, and resources for you as a whole person, not just as a parent. Local chapters put you in touch with other amazing women, along with a national network that connects you with members across the country.
Mothers & More is an extended community of women who are talking about and working on the issues that influence mothers' lives. We hold honest conversations about those issues to raise awareness about our needs as women, as parents, and as people who contribute valuable work as caregivers and in the workplace.
Create friendships. Relate. Share tips, insights, and local resources. Laugh. Save your sanity. Create a network for advice and support, from professional to personal to parenting to education to household.
Twice monthly Chapter Meetings are an opportunity for moms to get away, connect, and recharge. We draw from member and guest speaker expertise for thought-provoking topics that span:
- Personal growth, renewal and relaxation
- Work options, skill growth, balance and goals
- Women?s financial literacy and well-being
- Policies and attitudes that affect mothers' choices
- Nurturing relationships that shape our lives
