OMG! I'm soooo glad I found this site! When reading this blog and the responses my jaw literally dropped. I never thought that my issues could possibly be from the IUD. I just had to call my husband and tell him what I have read. I have been experiencing most of the symptoms that most of you have encountered.

I have had the same issues. As soon as it was out I had no headaches, lost 5 lbs and wasn't bloated anymore. It hurts like hell when they put it in. I ... Read it

Surgery for Removal

I am scheduled to have surgery to remove the Merina that has migrated through my uterus.  Can anyone tell me if they have had the surgery, how it went, and what seems to be causing this to occur?

Also, has anyone reported Mirena problems to the FDA or the manufacturer?

blood test

I just had blood taken last week, I have the Mireana in and my test came back as a HIGH NEGATIVE...my doctor said I am not pregnant as of this moment, but they are retesting in 10 days. My Mirenan is scheduled to come out tomorrow due to it is KILLING me, but I was told it is virtually impossible to get pregnant on this form of birth control.

Hi!
I am 35 years old, have 2 kids and have been on the Mirena for four years. These past 6 months have been absolutely horrible. I am 28 years old and had the Mirena put in September of '04.  This was 2 months after having my daughter.  Since I had it put in so close ... Read it
