Introduction: Mama of a Dozen
Hello Moms - I am Loni, Mama of a Dozen. I have 9 children who walk beside me, 2 who are above me in heaven (plus three miscarried babies), and one little one in the womb. I am 43 years old, and we homeschool our children. My blog, Finding JOY in the Morning, began almost two years ago after the death of our 16 year old son, Matthew. If you have children of pre-teen age or teenagers, please read my most recent post on Matthew. He died of a foolish game kids are playing. Even "homeschooling" him, in a more protected environment, he learned of a game, and died. 500-1000 children die a year form this.
We have been homeschooling over 14 years, and my blog shares about the journey of homeschooling, our recovery after our son's death, God as our Life Sustainer, daily life with a large family, and my pregnancy at age 43. I hope you will come and visit, and please introduce yourself!
