My son freaks out everytime i leave a room, even to go to the bathroom
My son is 2, and he freaks out EVERY time i leave a room. Even if it is just going to the bathroom. Well, i just got a job and i have been a stay at home mom. How do i transition him into not freaking out when mommy leaves to go to her full time job.

wow, that's a hard one! My nephew does the same thing when my sister leaves to school. i think one way is to have him engage in an activity that he really enjoys or doesn't normally get to do, so that way all his attention is not on your departure. it's a really tough thing to do, and hopefully it works out
I work with Safeway/Vons.
My son is the same age and i too, just started a job a few weeks ago .. and he does the same thng.. When i drop him off at daycare i usually tell him that i will be back soon or if he a good boy that he can help me with something around the house or we can have a movie night. Usually, when i tell him that he stops. I hope everything works out well for you.
