Hi All,
I found this group because my 5 mo son learned to roll onto his tummy yesterday - he learned this during a nap. So, I wanted to see if this warranted a first time mom freak out. Fortunately, you all covered this topic quite thoroughly and it allowed me to just enjoy his new trick!
My husband and I just have the one little guy. We live in Camarillo which is about 60 miles North of LA.

I am a mother of a 2 year old boy and a 6 week old boy. I recently decided to stop working and stay at home with my boys. I had my toddler enrolled in daycare twice a week just for socialization, but had a bad feeling about the place so I withdrew him yesterday. Now I'm worried that he won't get the socializing and learning environment he needs, so I'm glad I could connect to other moms in my area for playdates and things. I will need that to keep my own sanuty too. So thanks for offering a place like this to connect with other moms!

I am a new stay-at-home mom to a 3 month old, and also a student. I am looking forward for tips and advice from experienced mom's. Most of my girlfriend's don't have kids yet, so I am very excited to be able to connect and make friendships with other women who are mother's.

congratulations on surviving your first three months as a new mommy. i finished school a few months before i had my son (he'll be one next week) but i am familiar with the stress and time management skills involved with both school and home-life. my advice to you is know your limits and know what's really important to you. there's only 24 hours a day and some of them need to be spent sleeping (weather you want to or not). maybe you can cut back a few credits next semester or take an class online. definatley make contact with other students in you class (that take good notes). just remember...you'll be done with school one day and you're son will grow up...so eventhough some days you'll feel like no one does as much as you, they're still days to enjoy!

Hi! For the first time since we've been trying, we are finally pregnant with an early but strong pregnancy!
I am 41 yrs old and have much to learn!
I am looking forward to absorbing the wealth of experience here, sharing the apprehensions of other first-time "older" expectant women and hopefully, giving back what I can offer, too!

Hey I'm new here! I'm 23 and have a 20 month old. He is the cutest but he keeps me on my toes! I work from home and love what I do. My Wedding is in September and it has been just crazy starting my own home business and planing a wedding! I can't wait to get to meet all of you!
