Del Monte cantaloupe recalled from Raley's, Nob Hill Foods, Bel Air and Food Sources stores in Nevada and Nothern California
Del Monte cantaloupe has been recalled by Raley's, which also operates Nob Hill Foods, Bel Air and Food Sources stores in Northern California and Nevada due to salmonella.
This link contains the hotline number to call with questions as well as more information. I'm not seeing reports yet of any illnesses; they apparently found the salmonella during routine inspections.
Is anyone else just going batty from these recalls? It is especially vexing when the recalls affect fresh produce, which is supposed to be so good for us, and which we usually eat raw. So scary.
