Family in need
Hey guys! There is a family in Klamath whose rental home burned down and I thought we could help. They have 3 children ages 2 (girl) , 4 and 6 (boy). I am under the impression that they lost everything. I am waiting to find out what gender the middle child is and exact clothing size the kids wear, but thought I would mention it to you guys. If you would like to help out by donating any of your unwanted items that would be great! Also, if you would like we are also going to be buying gift cards for the family with any donations.
Let me know if you have any items that you are willing to part with and I can arrange to pick them up!

Thats a great idea.
Let me know what I can help with. I don't keep a lot of unwanted items around I try to donate them asap but I'd be willing to move something on to help make life a little easier for someone in need.
Let me know what they could really use or haven't received yet. I wouldn't want to pass on a item I am still using but could do with out to have them not need or want it. for example they could probably use a mattress and I have an extra queen size hardly used (saved for visiting family) but if they are sleeping at a family members home probably would rather get clothes and necessities first, and don't have room to store a mattress.
So just let me know what things you guys haven't been able to collect and I'll help fill in some of the gaps.
This has got to be really hard for them. I can't imagine what that would be like to loose everything in a fire.
We are collecting Items in my other play group as well for this family, here are the family's sizes....The 2 year old boy is in 3t her 4 year old daughter is going into size 5 and her 6 year old son is in 6/7 she wears an 18 pants and 2x shirts and the dad (who is really tall) wears 2xl shirts and not sure on pants right now for him. Hope this helps you out some!!

Thanks Crystal thats awesome.. A group of us from school are using it as a service learning project for our religion class. But only a few of us have any kids.. but the sizes are great thanks!

This weekend I'll go through Elizabeth's clothes. Some of the size 5s are too small for her, but too big for Olivia.

Okay the group of us in our class have decided that we are going to have a garage sale JUNE 20th. It will probably be at KCC. What we are going to do is ask the community to donate items to the garage sale. Then the family will have the first opportunity to look through things and take what they need, and whatever they don't need or doesn't fit ect we are going to sell. Then we will take the money and probably make it into a gift card or something... We are thinking about also doing a bake sale and car wash at the same time. So.. keep that in mind. If you have some stuff left over from your own garage sale or know someone who does, or you have stuff you'd like to get rid of and don't want to have your own it is a great cause. We will start collecting things about 2 weeks ahead. Just let me know and I can give you an address to drop it off at, or I can come and pick it up. I also have a truck and can get big items as well. Thanks guys alot! Also, if you'd rather bake some stuff I'll let you know if and when we will hold that sale.. :)
