Playin' Around Town hosts events throughout the Dallas metroplex during the mid-day hours Monday through Friday. The events take place at venues such as: water parks, in-door bounce houses, arcades, gymnastic centers, music and craft centers, etc. All events are open for parents and their immediate family to attend, at NO CHARGE! Yes, you heard it correctly, the activities are FREE!

Playin' Around Town aims to enrich the lives of its members by creating great family memories, laughter, endless smiles, and provide valuable information, without adding to the financial burden on parents. So you might be asking, what's the catch? In order to participate in an event, families must sign up for membership in Playin' Around Town. Membership is free and families can sign up on the companies website, www.playinaroundtown.com.

Ok, so the next question isHow on Earth can Playin' Around Town afford to have these wonderful events for free? Well, the answer is simple, to off-set the costs, Playin' Around Town invites local businesses and national brands to attend the events and meet their members. Members can find more information about event advertisers on the Playin' Around Town website and in the weekly email newsletters.

Playin' Around Town will take reservations for the events on a first come first serve basis, so becoming a member soon is highly recommended. Sponsorship attendance at the events is limited as well. (The main goal IS fun after all.)

Final question: Why would Playin' Around Town offer free events? Our mission is to enrich the lives of families by creating fun opportunities for families to get out of the house and make new friends. Finding activities to do with your child on a weekday without spending their college savings is a challenge. Getting out, around town and meeting other families that share the same interests and struggles is so important for parents and their children. For most families, being a stay at home parent puts some strain on the finances and limits the ability to participate in outside activities. We wanted to ease this burden for families.

 
Our first event is scheduled at the Wet Zone Waterpark in Rowlett on Tuesday July 14th. We are currently in the process of scheduling 3 more events in the month of July.
