Moms Who Blog
A general group for all of you mom bloggers out there!
Introduce Yourself and your blog!
What would a club for moms who blog be without a place for you to say hi, tell a bit about yourself and your blog?
Feel free to say hello and give us a bit of information about your blog. This is also a great place to drop your blog link and tell us how long you've been blogging!
I'll go ahead and start :)
I've been blogging since 2006, I started out on a blogger account but by 2007, I bought my first blog domain and switched to wordpress. Though I don't blog there much anymore (sheesh! It's actually abandoned right now LOL) but my first blog is http://www.chaosinthecountry.com where I talked about being a freelance writer and a work at home mom.
Later that year I started The Guilty Parent (http://www.theguiltyparent.com) which launched me into "mommy blogging" though I didn't consider myself a mom blogger, it sort of progressed into that.
I'd like to make this a space where can we discuss all things blogging, whether you are a "mommy bloggger" - or a mom who blogs about her job, her travels or whatever; we're all navigating the blogosphere.

What a great idea! I have two blogs and though I don't write on either one as much as I should, I do try to blog fairly regularly.
The first one is Snowflake Submerged - it's about the life and times of a Navy Submarine wife, stay at home mom with every day problems. It's a place to talk about the good, the bad, the ugly, the uplifting.... It's a little bit of everything really.
My second blog in The Angry American. It's a commentary on life, politics and society in general - just one womans opinion, but hey, it beats screaming at the television, right?
Looking forward to seeing everyone else's links!
Submarine wife, huh? I have submarines all over my house but they're the model building kind (my husband can't stop building models!!)
Very thoughtful blogs.
I'm Anastasia and I started blogging in December 2008 when I was 8 months pregnant with my first baby girl.
I have two blogs that I try to keep up to date with about 2 posts each month. EcoBabyz is a green parenting blog, it covers a lot of health, pregnancy, parenting, and green living topics as well as occasionally controversial subjects like vaccinations, circumcision, and multiple toxins (BPA, formaldehyde, thimerosal, fluoride). Currently I am also doing some green living product reviews.
AnV Design is a blog that grew out of my profession as an Interior Designer. It also has sustainability and green living inclinations. You'll find articles on decorating, sustainable architecture, solar living, lighting design, as well as some product reviews.
I am also a Brand Ambassador on Lunch.com where I write 2 weekly reviews on either parenting or green living, or both. Trader Joe's products as well. Some of these reviews I post on my blogs.

Ana,
I hope you'll share some of your green living tips with us as well. I'm trying but I'm still not very versed in all of that.
Ana,
One of our other members, Erica has a green parenting blog as well! I'm just beginning to get into green parenting, though admitedly not as much as other bloggers. Probably because 13 years ago when my oldest was born, green parenting was largely unheard of where I lived.
Welcome to the club!
LOL, I feel a little frivolous after reading about all of your blogs. I'm a TV girl -- loved it since I was little and so I write several TV blogs.
I started blogging a few years back after transitioning from magazine writing to online. I was lucky enough to be hired by a couple of the big blog companies and I also have a few of my own.
I'm kind of a blog junkie and at one point I had about ten blogs I was trying to keep up. That didn't last long. I did have a very sucessful blog dedicated to the show Harper's Island but it's gone along with the series.
Right now I blog about Sci-fi and Paranormal TV at SFUniverse.com (that's a b5 media blog) and I help manage TVVerdict.com. I write a daily TV column for Sheknows.com.
All of that pours into my personal webspace which is more of a virtual archive of my work than a blog and that's TVoftheAbsurd.com.
Crazy huh? I guess, once a writer always a writer.
One of my first blogging gigs was for 451Press.com as the Watching ER blogger but when the writer strike happened the show sort of went by the wayside and then they extended it one more year (was very excited about that!) but since then I haven't blogged about any television.
Awesome blogs ladies!! I also ghost blog for a client who owns a non profit job site so I offer tips to not-for-profit job seekers and then I also blog at http://www.Lifetimemoms.com as one of their parenting channel leaders - I'm pretty excited about that simply because it's an extension of what I already talk about at The Guilty Parent.
Nicole, you probably have tons of advice for those of us who are new to the "blog world". Any tips?
My blog is: www.quirkymomma.com and I think of it as my collection of bookmarks, things that I want to remember, tips that have helped me in the past, great sites for kids, etc. I enjoy it!
Tips? Oh wow! LOL Sometimes I think I'm still a beginner when it comes to blogging because the blog world changes so fast. When I started blogging I never considered being a mommy blogger as a business like some moms do.
Hmmm... This would make a great separate topic!
