Disney Family Movies free preview this weekend On Demand

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

This Labor Day weekend Disney Family Movies is running a free preview for people who have On Demand on their cable system. It's a bid to get you to subscribe to their channel, but it's not a bad deal if you have kids at home.

Starting today, you can watch a selection of Disney features from new movies like Space Buddies to Pocahontas to a wonderful old collection of animated shorts called Melody Time. I love those. They're also showing Mary Poppins, the live 101 Dalmatians and more!

For grown-ups, there's nothing that compares to classic Disney art. It's breathtaking in it's simplicity. For kids, there's plenty of action, adventure and fun.

If you have cable, press the On Demand button then scroll through the listings for Disney Family Movies. Click this and you'll get a list of available features, all free until Monday night.

Enjoy.

Thanks for posting this! I watched Mary Poppins this weekend with my daughter. It was great timing because I'd been wanting to watch it with her anyway, and my husband (who hates musicals) was going to a baseball game.

It's amazing how timeless Disney films are. Mary Poppins looks as fresh today as it did the day it was made.

Oh, I can't believe we missed this!  Would have loved to watch Mary Poppins and 101 Dalmations with the kids this weekend :(

Maybe they'll do it again.
