Toddler Development

This developing game teaches little toddler’s fingers to “see, think, remember and recognize” shapes and names of the items.

  •  You need to make 2 bags for this game and also find some small paired items different but shapes, size and texture.
  •  Put all items into 2 bags and let your toddler choose the bag he will be playing with.

Go to the library, read to him at home. Get some learning toys for the house and work on colors, letters and numbers I did this with my girls and they loved it! Read it

My 2 year old toddler not talking yet

I have a 2 year old son who does not say very many words but he understands them.
He can only say "Mama, dada, no, good-bye, pear and more." I read a lot of books to him and take him to playgroups.

Does having a flat head prevent his speech progress? He was not born with it, but he slept on his right side too much when he was just an infant.

Hi! Although I don't have any personal experience with this in particular, I do have 5 year old who had trouble with speech and reading at first. My ... Read it

“Mommy, my pants keep falling down!” Kristen Stevens must have heard that a thousand times from her little girl.  She knew after hearing those same words echoed over and over again, she had to come up with a solution.  The pins in the pants were a nuisance and dangerous, every belt you found was too big for your child’s waist, as a result Cute Beltz was born.

What a fantastic idea!!  I have a 19 month old whose pants are always falling down.  I am constantly saying that I wish someone made baby ... Read it

My 18 month old daughter says a lot of words, but has never attempted to say her own name (Lauren). We make a point of using her name all the time, but when she wants something, she'll say Baby _______. Should I be concerned? Is this odd?

My daughter does two things that I think are funny: First, she mixes up "me" or "I" and "you." And related to that, when she wants something, instead of ... Read it

Little man is getting so strong!

I'm so excited!! My youngest who is 7 1/2 months old pulled himself up for the first time yesterday. It was at the end of our StrollerFit® class when all the kids were playing on the mat and he went right over to the couch that is there and pulled himself up. He just seems way too little to be standing there but he's doing it.

Question

Does everyone always enjoy their pregnancy?

Kinda a heavy question. I'm currently 7 months pregnant with my second child. My first daughter is 15 months old. I enjoyed my first pregnancy to no end. Unfortinatly I've been so busy chasing my toddler around that I haven't been able to really sit down and enjoy this pregnancy. I'm pretty much a stay at home mom who works part-time. My husband works full time.

Reading your post makes me wonder how much you time you have. pregnancy can be really difficult, especially when you are chasing a toddler. I have a 2 1/2 ... Read it

Our Journey with Matthew

Our son Matthew was born a healthy full term baby on August 30, 2002. He was a delightful baby and toddler, hitting all of his developmental milestones right on schedule and charming everyone with his contagious smile and sweet personality. Among other things, he smiled at four weeks, laughed at 3 months, and loved social games like patty-cake and peek-a-boo.
