Kids in the Kitchen

The holidays are coming up and I know some kids love to help around in the kitchen this time of year. Does anybody have any holiday recipe ideas for the kids? When I was a kid (feels like yesterday lol) I loved making fudge with my aunt. There's a neat recipe for a Fudge Ring at safeway.com/holiday that I know kids would love to take part in.

Yes, I like the appetizer idea too, and thanks for sharing the list! Definitely a must-read. Read it

I've been reading other people's blogs and I think it would be interesting to talk about some of the things I like or post some recipes.

Diapers

I have an 81/2 month old boy who is VERY active.  I have been using LUVS and I loved them because they were easy and cheap.  Well, now that he is so active, the LUVS don't seem to work very well.  I have started using Huggies nighttime at night, since he's sleeping through the night, but sometimes, they can be so expensive.  Any suggestions on good diapers that won't leak after

New Birds Eye Vegetable Coupons

Since it was a holiday week, there were no coupons in the paper -- boo. But I did get an email from Birds Eye with a $1,00 off four of their frozen veggies.

I wanted to make a nice dinner for my family and was going to use white wine vinegar but I am not sure if it is safe for my kids.
I've done this recipe before but always ignored the wine, so I just wanted to ask....
Also if you have any recipes with veggies that your kids love, please share them with me!! We are vegetarian but my kids won't eat just that: veggies!!

My 2 year old son will eat anything - except vegetables!  I can fill up his plate with any other type of food and he eats it all, but spits out any and all veggies.  He does eat a lot of fruit, but how important is it to also eat the vegetables?

If anyone has any ideas on how to get him to eat veggies, I really appreciate it, thanks!
