Okay, money is tight this year and it's the first year we're doing a kids party. I need some ideas for things to do with the kids. It'll be a mix of ages, but mostly in the 4-6 age range. Any ideas???

I am planning my daughters 1st b-day on Dec. 29th. I am trying to come up with a theme. I originally wanted the pink 1st b-day theme, but everyone is advising against it b/c it has flowers and butterflies on it. I've been told that it is not apropriate due to the time of year.
