Some tough decisions ahead of us. I have a very good job offer from my company for a position back in the US (back in RTP to be specific). By very good, I mean that the salary is good and the position is interesting. What's the downside, yeah, going back to the US. Is this what I want for B? I think I have decided not, that the amount of money doesnt make up for the change in our lifestyle.

i never got back did I? And such is the life of a single mom. Especially one who has chosen to still try attachment parenting whilst allowing someone else to parent her child 4 days a week. Which means that I tend to keep B by my side the entire 3 days that I have her.

what a wonderful day yesterday, i spent it at home with my girl. yes i do realise that i am very lucky, but believe me i work my ass off for those 7.6 overhours so i can be with her not just 2 days per week but 3. this and last week in particular, while it is only thursday, i have the feeling i have worked too many hours straight. you see i am fighting the good fight here, and losing.

we are very excited, cause oma and opa are on their way here today. should be seeing them by 1200 tomorrow. my little miracle is growing up way too fast, even with Skype they probably wont believe how she has changed. yesterday we (A and I) took her out in the stroller, and we started out laying down flat and she was sleeping well like a baby.

Monday was a holiday here, which means that we were free to enjoy the very warm sunny weather which for me has become expected for May in Holland. I had spent the morning perusing the market in the neighboring town, and after lounging a bit in the shade with J and A, we made our way home. We were planning to walk the dog quickly and then take a nap in the relative coolness of our bedroom.
